What does the process of therapy look like?
You’ll reach out via phone or email and we'll get you scheduled and send intake forms to complete.
Next, we’ll meet and get to know one another, you’ll get to see if we are a fit and I’ll get to know a little bit about you and why you are seeking therapy. I’ll also answer any questions you might have.
Over the next several sessions we’ll explore your life experiences (the good, the bad, and the confusing) and collaborate on a plan to move towards healing and wholeness. We can meet weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs. You’ll learn about strategies that have been helpful and/or hurtful and we’ll work to upgrade strategies that are no longer working.
From time to time we’ll review your treatment plan to assess our work together to be sure your needs are being met and we’re on the right path.
At some point we’ll have our last session. Together we’ll process your therapeutic experience, the changes that you’ve made and say out goodbyes.

What types of therapy do you utilize?
I mainly utilize EMDR, AEDP, and Mindfulness based therapies using an Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) framework
